Child Safeguarding Policy

Cumnor Choral Society is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation – Charity number 1165970

We are a small Adult choir (circa 40 members).

As we are an adult choir we do not have a formal Child Safeguarding Policy or procedure.

In the event that a minor, aged under 18, wishes to sing with the choir this would only be possible on the following conditions:

• Without exception, if anyone under the age of 18 wishes to sing with the choir they must at all times, & throughout the rehearsals, concerts or events, be accompanied by an adult member of their family or by an adult nominated by their parents.
• That adult shall oversee the child’s wellbeing.
• Choir members should avoid being alone with the child at any time.
